Sea sponges are neither cold blooded or warm blooded; they don't have blood. Sponges are indeed animals and are part of the Animalia kingdom; however they are comprised of a mass of cells (multicellular organism) and do not have a circulatory system and thus have no blood.
The sponge's body is hollow and is held in place by a jelly-like substance that is mainly comprised of collagen and a network of fibers made of the same substance.
